Overview

Friend is a lime-green gorilla who has long arms, and gallops around the maps. Friend runs around the maps, making everybody around it smile, and plays a version of the song "I'm a Little Teacup", that is commonly used in media today. It will sometimes wear a party hat, but other times, it won't wear any cosmetics.

This picture was the only re-discovered piece of media from the BHL's encounter with friend. This picture was taken in [REDACTED CODE].

Friend will sometimes glitch out, and the song Friend is playing will slow down or distort. Sometimes, Friend will act differently, as if it is being possessed and/or manipulated by some other force/being. There is a possibility that friend has a parasite that will try to take over and show itself. Another theory that could explain the random glitching is that Friend has been taken over by something, and Friend is trying to break free, which is when he distorts.

No theories have been confirmed at this time.

Sightings

The BHL has had one encounter with Friend. This encounter took place in code GHOST, where the BHL managed to bring it into [REDACTED CODE]. This encounter was not documented/the footage has been lost, so a description of the encounter will continue below from BHL ID 0064.

After joining [REDACTED CODE], Friend galloped across City, and into Rotation (OG Caves), since we were attempting to analyze the attributes and characteristics of this anomaly. Once in Deep Mines, Friend began uncontrollably galloping across Deep Mines. It was then where Friend began to distort, and the casual happy music that Friend always played began to distort, and it began to... corrupt? It was almost as if Friend was revealing a dark side of itself that wasn't supposed to find the light.

Everything went back to normal shortly after, and it happened a few more times throughout the time we were researching the anomaly. Then, Friend glitched out and distorted, right before vanishing into the air.

We never got an explanation on where Friend went, or why.

What to Do During an Encounter?

This guide has been put together by BHL personnel for your safety in the event of an encounter with Subject: Friend.

1. Alert everyone in the code about the possible danger. Make sure everyone is on the same page before approaching the anomaly.
2. Watch for unusual signs/behavior. If the anomaly begins to distort/glitch out, proceed to step 3.
3. Follow SREN procedure.
   1. S - Spot and study the anomaly. Gather as much immediate information as you can without engaging.
   2. R - Report the anomaly to BHL personnel. Use the BHL Anomaly Hotline.
   3. E - Evacuate the perimeter, and the code if necessary. If the anomaly is a threat, this step should be taken with urgency.
   4. N - Neutralization of the threat will commence once BHL personnel enter the perimeter. Once the threat is clear, you will be notified.
