Welcome to the official page of CICADA

C.I.C.A.D.A (Central Information Collecting And Distributing Agency), or simply CICADA, is an organization mainly focused on collecting information about ghosts. CICADA was formed on June 17, 2024 by Astronomy lover 2082. C.I.C.A.D.A is a group of hard working monkeys trying to collect and categorize information on ghosts. We are a mostly behind the scenes organization.

Note: All ghosts are fake. Ghosts on this page were made up for fun and are not canon or real Gorilla Tag ghosts.

Terabyte is a very dangerous ghost. Avoid interacting with this ghost, as it can have extremely severe and possibly world ending consequences. This ghost also has the treacherous ability of infecting, destroying, and deleting files on players' devices and VR headsets. DO NOT GET NEAR TERABYTE. IF YOU SEE IT OR IF IT JOINS YOUR LOBBY, CLOSE GORILLA TAG IMMEDIATELY AND DO NOT ACCESS YOUR VR HEADSET FOR A WEEK. If you do, you may suffer the irreversible consequences of Terabyte's power and capabilities.

C.I.C.A.D.A Classifications

Main/Hostility Classifications

These classifications explain the hostility and threat of a ghost.

CICADA Classification System: THAUMIEL

This ghost warns players about or protects them from hostile ghosts

General Classification System: SAFE

This ghost poses no threat and is harmless.

CICADA Classification System: TERAT

This ghost is usually passive, but can become rarely hostile or in certain situations

CICADA Classification System: EUCLID

This ghost is hostile when provoked.

CICADA Classification System: KETER

This ghost is a large threat to a person's account or the game itself.

CICADA Classification System: APOLLYON

This ghost poses a huge threat to Gorilla Tag, the players, any organization, and can cause real life manifestations as well as real harm (such as doxxing) to the player.

CICADA Classification System: CROSS

This ghost is a hybrid between some/all classifications.

This ghost is awaiting classification approval.

BHL Classification System: FAKE

This ghost has been explained to be fake.

Apparlite Classification: Neutralized

This ghost has been Neutralized

HMI Classification System: CAPTURED (fake)

This ghost has been captured by the HMI.

HMI Classification System: NEUTRALIZED (fake)

This ghost has lost its anomalous properties due to HMI intervention.

Sub Classes (Subclassfications)

As of 2/2/2025, there are three ghost subclasses.

Archon (Reality Bender) - Ghosts that have the ability to change lobby aspects, such as the code, game mode, and more. These ghosts might also be anchored in a different reality/lobby and may be very hard to contain.

The Nexus Conflict begins, CICADA remains neutral like in the Parawar. However, none of the members of CICADA knew that the Nexus Conflict occurred until November 2024.
