Gorilla Tag Ghosts Wiki

Largest Hunt in Gorilla Tag History!

BHL is hosting the biggest hunt ever! Group owners can sign up their group for this hunt and normal participants will use the independent registration system!

So you may be wondering, what happened to the Gorilla Tag Ghost Wiki?

Because some guy who owned HMI called another guy named Codeman a "larper", meaning that he can't code and stuff, he got really mad and the Firecats no longer liked the HMI.

Fast forward a little bit and Codeman randomly decides to threaten BHL months later with a top secret project called "Operation Encore" because he is mad that he was called a larp, and was worried that he looked bad in front of people. So, Codeman and at least 2 others worked hours on a client that was designed to nuke Discord servers, DDoS websites, and more just to mess with a silly little group on a VR monkey game.

So, since he was so angry, and BHL 0064 had to try to maintain the existence of his organization, they negotiated.

Codeman wanted the GTGW to equip a Firecats LLC fortnite gun wrap and become a propaganda hub for them until 6/1/25, because he wanted to look good, and the BHL would become a puppet-group until 6/5/25.

So, we apologize for losing this "war" or whatever, but it's only a month to deal with this so dw. things will be back to normal after if codeman doesnt clickbait us.

Who is Echo?

Echo was a Gorilla Tag hacker, most prominent in early to mid 2021. Amidst the rising knowledge about another ghost, PBBV, many were enticed to create their own ghosts, which led to the creation of the concept of Lego.

Despite being called a Gorilla Tag ghost, she is theorized to have been programmed into the game. However, Echo most likely is a hacker.

Description

Echo is a cyan-colored gorilla (color code is 990) with short arms and the yellow sunhat cosmetic. Echo can mainly be heard playing the song Run Rabbit.

Echo has been noted to be able to jump higher players from both public and private lobbies, be able to run very slow, but also have a docile nature. If you see anything very over the top about what she does (ex: fly in the air, noclip, etc...), and or see her with a different cosmetic/color, then it isn't the real deal.

History

There are multiple theories as to "where Echo came from." Echo was originally created to add to the big ghost era of Gorilla Tag, to try to "counter PBBV." Despite only being a hacker and not actually a bot, people still formulated many theories as to where Echo came from.

Some people think that Echo is "PBBV's wife" and is trying to hunt him down. People also say that PBBV is looking for her as well, which could be the cause for why they both appear in lobbies.

Others think that Echo is the spirit of a girl who played Gorilla Tag, that went by the name EchoMist. People theorize that Echomist got harassed by two boys (AZIL and of course PBBV) for being a girl. They player tracked her, and stalked her in almost every lobby she entered.

Another group of theorizers suggest that Echo is an angel sent down to defeat PBBV, who is thought to be a demon, infecting Gorilla Tags code.

Codes

Here is a list of codes you might have been able to find Echo in before she got banned:

  • SREN17
  • SREN18
  • PBBV
  • ECHO
  • HUNT
  • 444
  • 555999

Trivia

  • You might still see Echo today, but the real Echo got banned in late 2021, along with many other OG ghosts.
  • When first being introduced to the game, Echo was very passive to people (except PBBV), but after a month or two, amped up her behaviour to be docile, or sometimes even hostile.
  • There is a slight chance that instead of kicking a player out their current lobby, Echo will boot the player from the players whole game.
